Instant Pot BBQ Chicken Wings

We went to a memorial day BBQ and I tried my hand at some instant pot chicken wings. They were so delicious, and so easy!

Ingredients:
4 pound chicken wings

Salt, pepper, onion, and garlic powder to season

1/2 cup water

1 cup bbq sauce (Fed&Fit has a great paleo one)

Directions:
Toss the chicken wings in the seasoning.

Place trivet in Instant Pot.

Put wings on the trivet, and pour the water on the edges of the pot. (You don’t want the wings to sit in the water).

Set the timer for 5 minutes at high pressure.

Toss the chicken wings in 1/2 cup of bbq sauce.

Place wings on a foil lined baking sheet and broil for 5 minutes.

Flip the wings and broil the other side for another 5 minutes.

Toss wings in remaining sauce and serve.

Notes:

You could totally do this with wing sauce instead, and serve with ranch and celery. Since the wings are cooked in the instant pot with no sauce, you could even do half and half with the batch.
