Instant Pot Chili Mac

I got daring, and made my very own recipe for Chili in the Instant Pot! I am not a big fan of beans in chili, so I made the Banza shells to serve it as a chili mac.

My very own Instant pot! I love it so much.

Ingredients for chili:

1.5 lb ground beef (turkey or chicken will work too)

28 ounces diced tomato

3 diced bell peppers, different colors

1 diced yellow onion

3 cloves diced garlic

6 oz tomato paste

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp oregano

1 tbsp cumin

Noodles used:

box of banza shells

These little noodles are made from chick peas and are a hit with my kids.

Directions:

Use sauté function to brown the meat.

Dump rest of ingredients into Instant Pot and stir to combine.

Press Bean/Chili button, decrease time to 20 minutes.

Bring water to boil per directions on noodle box, and cook noodles.

When everything is done, serve chili over noodles. Top with cheese, sour cream, or green onions, if desired.
